Fiona is a Chartered Accountant with a Certificate of Public Practice issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Fiona began her accounting career at a medium sized rural accounting firm in 1998. Being in the Waikato, dairy farmers were the majority of the clients she looked after in her first years. During this time Fiona began studying part time by correspondence toward a Business Degree. In 2000 she took up a position at a large 2nd tier accounting firm in Hamilton and then one of the big four firms, completing her studies up at Wintec part time whilst working full time.
Fiona graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies in 2003 and then after passing her professional exams became a Chartered Accountant in Feb 2006.
Fiona has been the Director of Accounting House since it began in 2013. She enjoys watching her 3 girls play football in the weekends and is an active part of their school lives as the Treasurer of the Rototuna Primary School BOT.

Maggie is a Chartered Accountant, she joined Accounting House in late 2016 as a Business Associate.
Originally from China, Maggie came to New Zealand in 2008 to complete her Business Management Degree. After obtaining her first degree, she took an interest in accountancy, going on to complete a second degree in Professional Accounting. She worked in a local accounting firm for 4 years, during which she studied and passed the professional exams to become a Chartered Accountant.
Maggie is passionate about adding value to businesses and helping them achieve their goals. She is experienced in accounting compliance work and ensuring business owners have the right level of support. In addition to her commercial skill, Maggie also has experience working with not-for-profit organisations. She is part of the Hamilton Abuse Intervention Project management team, looking after their finances so they can focus on their vision to empower families.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Maggie can provide accounting services in either language.
